India's Textile Industry Accelerates Digital Printing Adoption, Importen af DTF-maskiner stiger 35%

Indiens tekstilindustri fremskynder adoption af digitaltryk, Importen af DTF-maskiner stiger 35%

India’s textile printing industry is rapidly adopting digital technologies, with imports of DTF and sublimation printers rising 35% in the fiscal year 2025–2026. The growth is driven by the booming domestic fashion market, increasing e‑commerce, and government incentives under the Production Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme. Small and medium print shops in Surat, Tirupur, and Delhi are replacing screen printing lines with digital equipment to offer faster turnaround and lower minimum quantities.

For manufacturers of Xinflying DTF printers, India represents a key growth market. The country’s young population and rising disposable income are fueling demand for customized apparel. Imidlertid, price sensitivity is high, and local assembly or partnership with distributors is essential. Several Chinese and Korean brands have established local service centers. The Indian government’s push for “Make in India” also encourages local manufacturing of printing equipment, which could lead to joint ventures. Analysts expect India to become the third‑largest market for digital textile printing in Asia by 2028, after China and Vietnam.
