Durst Phototechnik has launched the Alpha S30, a 3.2-meter wide dye-sublimation printer designed for soft signage, tekstil rumah, and sports apparel. The Alpha S30 uses Durst’s proprietary Quadro printhead technology, achieving 600 dpi resolution at speeds up to 250 m²/h in production mode. The printer includes an integrated color management system with a spectrophotometer for inline calibration, ensuring consistent color across long runs.
The Alpha S30 supports both paper transfer and direct-to-fabric printing, with a heated calender option for paperless operation. Pricing starts at €250,000, including installation and training. Durst offers a click-based “Print-as-a-Service” model with per-square-meter pricing for customers who prefer variable costs.
The first unit has been installed at a Belgian soft signage manufacturer, which reported a 35% reduction in ink consumption compared to their previous system. The Alpha S30 uses Durst’s Water-based Sublimation Inks (WSI), which are Oeko-Tex certified and produce low odor during printing. The printer also features an automatic cleaning system that reduces maintenance to once per week.
Durst provides a two-year warranty and remote service via the Durst Smart Shop platform. The Alpha S30 will be demonstrated at FESPA 2026. With the soft signage market growing at 8% annually, the Alpha S30 targets large-format print providers expanding into textiles. Discover industrial sublimation pada Xinflying.
